Working on Saint Sarkis Church in Carrollton, Texas was no different. But the challenge was vast. Building concave steel windows is not easy. At Cantera Doors, we take all challenges to the next level. From consulting with experienced Structural engineers to creating a great design with our team, our steel windows and doors are a show stopper in this unique architectural beauty. The St Sarkis Armenian Church won building of the year 2022 in world’s architects, among other awards. What a privilege to be the supplier of such hallmark pieces of art such as the concave steel windows and steel front doors. Steel windows that are over 20’ with just one piece of glass, or a beautiful glass wall with small profile steel frames, that embark the entire property at the event center was out of this world. This Church is a gem of great features. The Design, the construction and the finish product are a masterpiece. Within the church building, you can see from the exterior elevation our gigantic concave steel windows, and the beautiful steel and glass doors to enter the magnificent temple. From the inside, the intricate walls give indirect light to the altar and church itself.   In the event center, this enormous structure that covers almost the entire area, is a joy to the eyes. Massive steel frames that are so narrow, you can almost see them in a traditional house, build up half of the structure from floor to ceiling steel window walls. This makes our windows almost seamless. They wrap around the structure giving the view to a beautiful courtyard. When we think we have done it all, here comes the “Steel Window” with proportions that can amaze the eye. ONE piece of glass 20’ wide by 11’ tall. Unbelievable. This steel window was tricky to conceive, install and clean. As for now, it stands superbly in the entrance of the event center.
